The method factory
Every valuable professional has a method.
A method refined over years of work and experience: a way of seeing problems, solving them and seizing the opportunities that deliver the best result. We build that experience into operational tools that allow companies to absorb, consolidate and progressively improve their most important practices.
DE Factory grows out of years of direct operational and management experience in many industrial companies, from large international groups to outstanding Italian businesses. It is this experience in the field that gives us the ability to recognise a method that works and turn it into a tool that companies can make their own. Methods are built with those who know how and refined by those who use them.
The tool
The operational artefact (software, calculation model, application) that makes the method executable every day, without the constant presence of the person who devised it.
Continuous refinement
The method is not delivered and left behind: the person who devised it keeps calibrating it to the domain and the cases of the company using it. That is why we speak of Method as a Service: an ongoing methodology that is refined through use.

The founder
Daniele Pinna
Founder and Sole Director · author of the methods
Thirty years of experience in Sales, Marketing, After-sales, Customer Care, Logistics and General Management, with senior management responsibilities in national and international industrial groups.
A manager and implementer of methods: he has personally handled quality incidents, recalls and service networks, and has built after-sales organisations from scratch. He devised the method behind 4Vision and holds the patent application for which DE Factory is the exclusive licensee. At DE Factory he is the author of the methods and leads their refinement over time within each client's domain.

A family of smart methods, one flagship method.
Each method turns the knowledge of a domain into an operational tool that companies can make their own. The first, and the most demanding, comes from the domain of industrial quality.
4Vision
For manufacturers of machines, components and connected products: it collects the signals coming from the field, links them together and preserves their origin, sequence and integrity. It answers the question: when did you know? And what did you do?
Smart Methods
The factory's other methods: from quoting a set-up to reading a sports data point in its context. Different domains, the same idea: the experience of those who know how, turned into a tool.
A method at work
The Smart Run Award applies the same way of reading a data point in its context to an international sporting event: same water, same judges. It made its debut in Gozzano in September 2026.
